Tesla Semi unveil, Hawthorne. GeekWire reports Musk said the Semi "should become available in 2019". PepsiCo and Walmart pre-ordered.
What happened: PepsiCo took delivery of the first hand-built Semis on 1 December 2022, three years late. Volume production began at the dedicated Nevada plant, with the first truck off the high-volume line on 29 April 2026.
