Tesla's own Model 3 page the day after the unveil, which also listed "Deliveries begin late 2017". 325,000 reservations came in that week.
What happened: The $35k version briefly appeared online in Feb 2019, then vanished within weeks. Cheapest Model 3 ever actually sold in volume: ~$39k.
