What happened: As of late September 2026, no Roadster has been delivered. The unveil-to-production timeline slipped to 2022, 2023, 2024 and early 2025; a demo promised for April 2026 slid to August, which passed without one. Tesla then scheduled an unveiling for 1 October 2026 in Waco, Texas, and in late September moved it to 15 October, citing severe weather. Tesla's latest production guidance, from November 2025, points to 2027 or 2028.
